E06: Wear Your Own Name
Stop Chasing Their Life
There comes a point where you realise…
you’ve been building something that doesn’t actually feel like yours.
Not your style.
Not your pace.
Not your vision.
Just something that looked good on paper.
Or worse… something that looked good on someone else.
This episode is about that moment.
The shift.
The decision to stop wearing brands, identities, and expectations that don’t belong to you…
and finally start wearing your own name.
The Pressure to Fit In
We grow up being shown what success looks like:
A certain lifestyle
A certain job
A certain image
And without even realising it, we start copying.
Same clothes.
Same routines.
Same goals.
But here’s the problem…
You can follow someone else’s blueprint perfectly…
and still feel completely lost.
Because it was never yours to begin with.

Bangkok Changed the Way I See It
Being out in Bangkok gave me space.
Space away from expectations.
Space away from noise.
Space away from the version of me I thought I had to be.
Out there, no one knows you.
And that’s powerful.
Because you get to decide:
Who you are
What you wear
How you move
What you build
No pressure. Just choice.
Wearing Your Own Name
This isn’t just about clothes.
It’s about identity.
It’s about asking yourself:
What do I actually like?
What feels natural to me?
What would I do if no one was watching?
Because when you start answering those questions honestly…
everything begins to change.
Your content becomes real.
Your energy shifts.
Your work starts to connect.
Not because it’s perfect…
but because it’s yours.

Why This Matters (Especially If You're Building Something)
If you're trying to build a brand, a business, or even just a life you enjoy…
This step is non-negotiable.
Because people don’t connect with perfection.
They connect with truth.
And truth only comes from ownership.
Not imitation.
From Wearing Brands to Building One
There’s a big difference between:
Wearing someone else’s name
and
Building your own
One is consumption.
The other is creation.
And that’s where everything starts to shift.
You stop asking:
“What’s trending?”
And start asking:
“What represents me?”
That’s where brands are built.
That’s where movements begin.

Travel, Identity, and Freedom
Travel plays a huge part in this.
Because when you move…
You see different lifestyles.
Different priorities.
Different ways of living.
And you realise:
There is no “one way” to do life.
Whether you're in London or across the world in Bangkok…
You have the option to design something that fits you.
Not something that traps you.
The Real Question
So here’s the question I had to ask myself…
and maybe you need to ask yourself too:
Am I living a life that actually feels like mine?
Or…
Am I just wearing something that looks good to everyone else?
If You’re Ready to Start
If this resonates with you… don’t overthink it.
Just start.
Start small.
Start messy.
Start unsure.
But start as you.

Final Thought
You don’t need permission to be yourself.
You don’t need approval to start.
And you definitely don’t need to follow a path that doesn’t feel right.
At some point…
You just have to decide:
This is me.
And build from there.
